Chrissie Best from Ridlington and photographer Richard Adams from Oakham have joined forces for an exhibition of floral paintings and photography to be held at the Victoria Hall Gallery Oakham from July 18 - 23.
Chrissie has always had a passion for flowers and produces larger than life flower paintings, in which she tries to show the luminosity and colour of the subject.

Richard is well known for his photography and the talks he gives throughout the East Midlands area incorporating his own photos and music. This exhibition gives him an opportunity to concentrate on one area of his work which gives him particular pleasure.

A wide range of floral images are simply presented to show the plants' form and colour to dramatic effect.
