Best-selling author Anna Jacobs will talk to auidiences at Rutland County Museum and Uppingham Library on Thursday, July 24.
The writer will be chatting about her latest books and her life as a writer at two events organised by Rutland Library Service.

Anna is one of the most popular writers of historical sagas and romances.

She has written more than 40 titles including her recent novels Chestnut Lane, Kirsty's Vineyard and Yesterday's Girl.

Anna often writes about her native Lancashire but her latest saga, Freedom's land is an enthralling account of Australia after the First World War, based on the true stories of British servicemen and their wives who left England to build a better life.

Anna now lives in Australia but is back in England for the summer to carry out research for her next books.

She will be at Rutland County Museum at 11am and Uppingham Library at 2.30 pm
Tickets are priced £3 (£2 concessions) and are available from Oakham Library on (01572) 722918.
