Oakham School's Chamber Orchestra, award-winning Chamber Choir and soloists perform a concert of English music, in Oakham School chapel, on Friday, February 20, to which all are invited.
The concert is based around John Rutter's setting of the Requiem Mass.
The piece is exceptionally moving, and a great favourite with choirs and audiences alike, combining psalms and prayers with the traditional text of the mass in a meditation on the themes of life and death. The concert, at 7.30pm, is free although tickets are required. Tickets will be available on the door.
