DAY OUT: Railway's vintage weekend

Nene Valley Railway's annual Vintage Weekend takes place on Saturday and Sunday, July 19 and 20.
Both full size and miniature steam traction engines will be in action and a wide variety of other vintage vehicles on display at Wansford.

The Travelling Post Office (TPO) set of coaches will also be in operation during the weekend and the TPO set will be exchanging mail bags on the move at Yarwell.

A vintage bus service will run between Wansford Station and Sacrewell Farm, operated by a preserved 1960 AEC Routemaster bus.

Free parking, the cafeteria, gift shop museum coach, second-hand book shop, model railway and childrens' play area will all be available.

Trains start from 10.30am and run at frequent intervals throughout the day.
