Exhibitions over the next few weeks...
24 TOP Potters - an exhibition of the work of some of the best ceramic artists in Britain - is at the Goldmark Gallery in Uppingham on Saturday 6 Feb from 10am-5.30pm. All 24 of them are expected to turn up for this unique event which will accompany
the launch of David Whiting's book: Modern British Potters. The book features photos of the artists and their studios by Jay Goldmark. There will be 250 copies of the book available - signed by all the potters.

A NEW exhibition of English landscapes by artists Colin Halliday, Ann Pollard and Alistair Butt is at the Norman Cross Gallery, just off the A1 near Peterborough, throughout February. See www.normancrossgallery.com for more details.

CAPTURED – an exhibition focusing on "the figure" through paintings, textiles and sculpture - is at the Catmose Gallery in Oakham until Wednesday 10 Feb.

THE PAINTING Show - an exhibition of the work of final year art students at Oakham School - is in the Smallbone Library until February 27. Opening hours are daily 10am-6pm.

RUTLAND County Museum has an exhibition on food and farming during World War II. We'll Eat Again marks the 70th anniversary of the introduction of food rationing and the subsequent transformation of diet and farming. The exhibition also celebrates the role of the Women's Land Army. It runs until April 18. More details - 01572 758440.
