Father and son violinists Peter and Martin Cropper will battle it out in an unmissable evening of violin duets at Goldmark Gallery in Uppingham on May 23 from 7.30pm.
Peter Cropper is one of the UK's most influential and innovative musicians.

As leader of the internationally renowned Lindsay String Quartet for over 40 years, he has performed worldwide, earning particular praise for his interpretation of the works of composers such as Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert and Tippet.

Martin Cropper studied the violin with his mother and then at the Royal Academy of Music. He led the string orchestra and the Modern Instrument Baroque Orchestra and formed the Regent String Quartet. He currently runs an education programme for string players in Sheffield and is Head of Strings at Oakham School.
