MUSIC: Guitarist at Gallery
Australian born guitarist Craig Ogden will perform at the Vale of Catmose Gallery, Oakham on July 25 from 7.30pm.
Ogden is the one of the most successful UK guitarists of his generation.
He has performed concertos with all the main UK orchestras and also in Russia, Sweden, South Africa, the USA, Latvia, and Australia.
Ogden regularly appears as soloist and chamber musician at the major London venues and collaborates regularly with many of the UK's top artists and ensembles.
He is principal lecturer in guitar and a Fellow of the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester.
Highlights of the evening's performance include works by Dowland, Sor, Villa-Lobos, Dyens and Pearson.
