The meadows in Melton Mowbray will be alive with the sound of music on Saturday August 9 when Ashby Folville Manor opens its grounds to the public for its highly successful summer open air charity concert, Music in the Meadow 2008.
The event is now in its fourth year and is raising money for local charities Steps and The Matt Hampson Trust.

People from across the Midlands are invited to bring a picnic and enjoy the evening's musical entertainment against the stunning backdrop of Ashby Folville Manor, six miles south of Melton Mowbray in Leicestershire.
Steps is a conductive education charity based in Loughborough and helps families who have children with cerebral palsy and similar motor dysfunctions.
Rutlander Matt Hampson was a Leicester Tigers prop forward who sustained a serious neck injury whilst training with the England under-21s in March 2005.
The Matt Hampson Trust raises money to help with the additional costs incurred in his ongoing care and recovery.
On the night there will be some fantastic prizes to be won including two luxury holidays to Thailand and Oman, and weekend breaks in Germany, Leicestershire and Hertfordshire.
