Young people have the opportunity to learn about wild birds during the summer holidays, at the Top Lodge Centre, Fineshade Woods.
The courses organised by the RSPB will give children the chance to learn about different kinds of birds and identify them, followed by an expedition into the woods.

Chris Andrews, RSPB visitor officer, said: "Birdwatching is a pastime that anyone of any age can get into. These classes are designed to introduce the hobby to kids in a fun and informative way."

Top Lodge is located in the Forst Commission's Fineshade Woods, just off the A43. Parking is £2 and there is a café, toilets and children's play area on site.

Places for these classes are limited so its advised to book in advance. The classes cost £2 per child, with accompanying adults free. To book or for more information call (01780) 444691.
