A special men's night featuring Kenton Cool, the renowned mountaineer and six-times conqueror of Everest, will take place at Cavells clothing stoire in Oakham on Thursday, September 11 from 7pm.
Kenton will share his astonishing tales and there will be a chance to see his latest DVD courtesy of Bang & Olufsen as well as his actual tent and equipment.

Kenton is regarded as one of the world's greatest high altitude guides with an impressive list of difficult ascents.

He has personally reached the summit of Everest six times, with two ascents completed in the same week, a British first.

In 2007 he became the first Briton to ski an 8,000m peak on Cho Oyu, the world's sixth highest mountain. Kenton also trained and guided Sir Ranulph Fiennes to the top of the North Face of the Eiger in March of this year, raising a substantial amount for Marie Curie.

Group 20 supercars will be parked outside the shop for visitors to sit in, there will be a male makeover and male grooming products. Beers and 'manly ' canapes will be on offer. Partners are welcome.

Tickets cost £5 and are available from the shop on Mill Street (01572) 770372.
