The collection for the Alexandra Rose Day Charity, held outside Tesco store in Oakham on July 4 and 5 raised £890. The money was shared as follows – £90 to Alexandra Rose Special Appeal Fund and £800 to the League of Friends to buy equipment for the Rutland Memorial Hospital.
I would like to thank all those who gave to the collection and special thanks to those who gave up their time to make the collection possible.

This year the total funds raised for the Alexandra Rose Day including the money raised in June was £3,602.

Thanks to all for their generosity in money and time.

Sheila Day
