May I thank all the organisers of Sunday's 4th. Cicle Classic.
Everything about it was superb. The excitment on seeing this huge carnival come once again to the streets of Oakham could be seen on the faces of young and old alike.

The Italian market proved a huge success, and with the warmth of a late April sun on our faces, you could almost imagine yourself to be anywhere in the world.

The whole day was fantastic, and the wonderful athletes which are today's cyclists, never failed to amaze at every twist and turn in this most hazardous of competitions.

No wonder it's already the No1 race, in our country's busy cycling calender.

Not bad at all for this the smallest county (and of course race organiser Colin Clews) and it's nice to think that once again we do deserve our motto, Multim in Parvo (much in little).

It would be nice if we could say this more often.
