With all the publicity for the new 'state of the art' toilets in Oakham, has anybody given any thought as to what is going to happen to the old toilets in Church Passage?
They have now been closed due to vandalism for some considerable time and have become an eyesore, a situation which has been compounded by rubbish being thrown over the locked railings and left to sit there.

My recommendation, unless the council has other plans, is that the building should be demolished and the area turfed over. Does anybody else share my views?

Chris Wallis
