I write to say, first of all, thank you for the most interesting article about Lee Secker and Mark Hodson, the two retired postmen.
I look forward to patronising their new venture in Oakham. But equally I should like to know why, if postmen are required to get up at 2.30am, the post is frequently not delivered here in Braunston until 2.30pm. Also I am quite sure that I am not alone in feeling very dissatisfied with the present low level of Royal Mail's services, particularly in view of the high and every increasing postal charges.

Clearly someone in authority should be examining and rectifying the situation very quickly. Only this way will Royal Mail cease to be Royal Fail.

J E Cooper
