May I through your paper thank Oakham Angling Society and all my late husband David's fishing friends for holding a fishing match in his memory and raising £145 for East Midlands Immediate Care Scheme (EMICS).
Scheme founder Dr Tim Gray saved David's life, along with our wonderful fire service many years ago.

Without their combined expertise David wouldn't have survived over 25 years and we as a family would have been without a dear husband, father and grandfather.

Thank you all again

Irene Southerington and family
Oakham
