It’s that time of year again, where beautiful gardens from across the area are open to the public as part of the National Gardens Scheme.
The majority of these gardens are privately owned and offer a rare chance to explore the hidden treasures on your doorstep.
The following gardens are open in Lincolnshire this April:
Burghley House Private South Gardens, Saturday and Sunday (April 9 and 10), 11am to 4pm. Featuring spectacular bulbs, magnificent trees and the opportunity to enjoy Capability Brown’s famous lake and summerhouse. Admission £3.50, children £2.
Grimsthorpe Castle, Sunday (April 10), 11am to 5pm. Enjoy 15 acres of formal and woodland gardens, including an unusual ornamental kitchen garden. Admission £6, children £2.50.
21 Chapel Street, Haconby, Sunday (April 10), 11am to 4pm. A wonderful cottage garden containing snowdrops and many different Spring flowering bulbs. Admission £3, children free.

l Kirkby Underwood, open village gardens on Sunday (April 10), 11am to 5pm. A number of gardens will be opening this year to support the village church and village hall. There are also refreshments in the village hall and a raffle.
