FIREFIGHTERS received an emergency call in the early hours of Monday morning (Aug 18) after a car left the road and ended upside down in a ditch.
The crash in Cottesmore Road, Ashwell, occurred shortly after 2am and involved one vehicle.
Two pumps and a heavy rescue vehicle from Oakham attended the scene and firefighters gave first aid until the ambulance service arrived.
The five people inside the vehicle received only minor injuries.
