UPPINGHAM residents are being asked to give their views on community safety in the town.
Rutland Community Safety Partnership is looking forward and developing its priorities for 2009/10 and wans to make sure its plans properly reflect the views and concerns of the local community.

A consultation session will be held on Wednesday Sep
tember 17 from 6pm-7.30pm at The Falcon Hotel, Uppingham.

The session will listen to residents' views and concerns so that the Council can take steps to address them and will also explain what is being done in their local community to make it a safer place to live.

Chair of Rutland Community Safety Partnership, Councillor Barrie Roper said: "All local residents are welcome to attend as the partnership is keen to hear from everyone in the community.

"We can't do anything about your concerns if we are not aware of them, so I would encourage residents to take this opportunity to come along and make their concerns about community safety known."

If you have a view or concern about community safety in your area, but are unable to attend the session, contact Rutland County Council on 01572 722577 or email communitysafety@rutland.gov.uk
