Man in wheelchair tipped to the ground

A man was tipped out of his wheelchair during an altercation in Oakham town centre.
The incident happened near to the level crossing in Melton Road at about 10pm.

A man got into an argument with two friends of the wheelchair user before they left the scene. He then pushed the wheelchair and the victim fell to the floor.

Two drivers and a cyclist stopped to help and police are appealing for them to contact Pc 4074 Sue Cockerill on (0116) 222 2222.

The incident happened on Tuesday, November 11
