Rutland road re-opens after bridge work

Bridge repairs which closed a major Rutland road have finished more than a month ahead of schedule.
The A606 through Empingham opened to traffic again today (Wednesday) following major repair work to Church Bridge in the village.

Drivers had been diverted via Manton and the A6003 or via Tickencote during the work.
