TEN students from Oakham School are celebrating after they were offered the chance to study at either Oxford or Cambridge University.
The students, who are in their final year at Oakham School, have been offered places to study subjects ranging from medicine to Middle Eastern studies at two of the world's most famous universities.

Oakham School headmaster Nigel Lashbrook said the whole school could be proud of them.

He said: "I am delighted by the success of this year's Oxbridge candidates – their conditional offers to study at Oxford or Cambridge are a testimony to not only their undoubted ability but also their total commitment and sheer enthusiasm for their chosen subjects.

The pupils who received the offers are Jessica Anand, Max Bacon, Natasha Branch, Matthew Counsell, Sam Ma, Simon Pratt, Nikita Sellers, Ed Tombs, Tom Adlam and Claire Baillie.
