Home Care Rutland Social Enterprise moving to new offices
A BUSINESS that has expanded rapidly since starting 18 months ago is moving premises.
Gillie Loft started Home Care Rutland Social Enterprise from her home in Mill Lane, Empingham, with the aim of providing better care to elderly people and those with special needs.
She started off with just herself and 10 clients and the organisation, which is non-profit making, has expanded rapidly.
She now employs 10 carers, of which three are based in Stamford, and has 40 clients on her books.
This week, the organisation will be moving to new premises at Ashwell business units.
The team is also celebrating after Home Care Rutland Social Enterprise was recognised for its commitment to excellence in the care section of Update Magazine.
Gillie, who has 40 year’s experience of working in the care sector, said: “Being recognised in this way is just wonderful. It is great to know that what you are doing is appreciated.
“Home Care Rutland has gone from strength-to-strength.”
