Oil thefts warning in Rutland

PEOPLE with oil storage tanks in Rutland are being asked to be vigilant to thieves by police.

There have been several thefts of heating oil from storage tanks in the county in the past week.

Oil has been stolen from tanks in Stoke Dry, Belton-in-Rutland and Morcott and police are appealing for witnesses to come forward.

If you see anybody acting suspiciously or have information about the thefts call police on 101. Calls cost 15p.
