Grab a bargain in aid of a good cause at this year’s Good and New Clothes Sale being held at Barnsdale Lodge Hotel in Oakham next weekend.

The annual event, hosted by For Rutland In Rutland will begin with a ticket-only event on the Friday evening, followed by an open day on the Saturday.

More than 70 rails of high quality and never worn clothes and accessories will be on sale, raising funds for Citizens Advice to benefit the Rutland community by providing advice on cancer, dementia and other long term illnesses.

Alongside the clothes sale, a men’s clothing sale will take place this weekend - with a preview evening on Friday (February 26) from 5pm to 8pm and a preview morning on Saturday (February 27) from 9am to 1pm at 33 Pillings Road in Oakham.

Entry to the mens sale is free. Only cash or cheque will be accepted at the event.

Tickets for the Good and New Clothes Sale, being held at Barnsdale Lodge Hotel, are priced at £15 for the Friday evening (March 4), taking place from 5pm to 8pm. The price will include a glass of champagne and canapes from 6pm, kindly provided by Hambleton Hall. Tickets can be booked by calling Trish Ruddle on 01572 724400.

Entry for Saturday (March 5), taking place from 8.30am to 1pm, will be £5 payable on the door.
