‘No-one is against pitches’
Your newspaper quoted me in last week’s edition regarding the fight by residents of Barleythorpe to protect a tranquil area close to their homes against two proposed football pitches. It is stated that I “told residents to keep a united front against the plans”.
Town could not cope without bank
I have used HSBC for almost 50 years and would certainly miss the facility in Uppingham.
