Baroness takes part in bible reading

BARONESS Berridge of the Vale of Catmose has taken part in a challenge to record a bible.

The Baroness has taken part in a challenge by the King James Bible Trust, which wants to create a complete reading of the bible on the website to mark its 400th anniversary.

The Prince of Wales has even recorded a reading.

The Baroness, who recorded Psalm 37, said: “Rutland Water was the obvious place to choose to record a section of the King James Bible for the You Tube version being created to celebrate the 400th anniversary of the King James translation.

“It gave ordinary people access to the bible on a widespread scale and it has contributed greatly to the culture, literature and public life of our nation.”
