Rutland club supports Headway
Rutland Inner Wheel Club president Gloria Whight presents a cheque to Simon and Jane Hales, who received it on behalf of Headway
THE Inner Wheel Club of Rutland has presented a cheque for £1,200 to a charity which helps victims of head injuries.
The club raised the money during a bridge day and a concert by the Peterborough Male Voice Choir, which it organised.
Simon Hales, 22, of Langham, accepted the cheque on behalf of Headway.
He was helped by the charity following a fall in which he sustained head injuries.
President of the club Gloria Whight presented the cheque to him during the club’s monthly meeting on Wednesday last week at Barnsdale Lodge.
