A SERIES of signs proposing marriage to a woman called Charlotte have been posted on bridges above the A1.
The first sign, which said “Charlotte”, was on the A606 bridge going southbound on the A1 near Stamford, the second reading “Will you” was on the Tinwell Road bridge and the third reading “marry” was at Carpenters Lodge.
