Volunteer to protect Rutland’s countryside

NEW volunteers are being sought to stand up for the countryside in Rutland.

The Campaign to Protect Rural England is looking for rural champions.

Rutland chairman Julian Lessey said: “We are privileged in Rutland to have some of the most beautiful countryside in the country. In part this is a result of organisations like The Campaign to Protect Rural England which have been campaigning to protect and enhance the countryside for over 80 years.

“We do this so we can all enjoy a landscape that is not spoiled by unplanned or poorly designed development.”

To volunteer call 01780 410533 or email jmlessey@havmail.co.uk
