Melton Building Society in line for three national awards

The Melton Building Society is in line for three national awards.

The society, wich has branches in Grantham, Melton and Oakham, has been shortlisted for three awards by leading independent provider of personal finance data, Moneyfacts.

We are extremely proud to be finalists in not just one, but three categories for these key industry awards.

Martin Reason, chief executive

The society, which employs 87 people, has been nominated for Best Building Society Mortgage Provider, Regional Lending Provider of the Year and Best First Time Buyer Mortgage Provider.

Martin Reason, chief executive, said: “We are extremely proud to be finalists in not just one, but three categories for these key industry awards.

“Moneyfacts provides the data for several mortgage comparison tables and our products are regularly listed as best buys.

“Recognition in these awards demonstrates we are in tune with customer demand and that our individual underwriting approach really does deliver good outcomes for customers.”

The awards ceremony takes place on June 7 at the Tower of London.

Two weeks ago, the society reported an increase in pre-tax profits of £480,000.
