People across the area witnessed a partial solar eclipse this morning.
The moon began to pass in front of the sun from about 8.30am. The skies darkened as people turned their eyes upwards, trying to catch a glimpse of the unusual event.
Many used homemade pinhole cameras to capture the crescent shape of the sun on a piece of cardboard or paper.
And plenty took to social media to post their photos of the eclipse. Peter Wright, posting as @CSI_Pete, took the above image in Bourne.
Did you manage to get a picture of the eclipse? Send it to the newsdesk and it could feature in next week’s paper.
