Pet owners will be able to take their dogs for a free health checks and microchipping at a series of events.
Jay Neilander, a Police Community Support Officer based in Bourne, has organised the events in a bid to help the local community.
A fully-qualified veterinary nurse from PDSA, a dog charity based in South Yorkshire, offering free dog health checks and chipping if required, in time for the new laws coming into force in April 2016.
After this time, dog owners could be prosecuted for not having their dogs chipped.
The event schedule is: Thursday, November 19, at Market Deeping Police station, Douglas Road, Market Deeping, Lincs PE6 8PA.
Friday, November 20, at Mole Country Store, Uffington Road, Stamford, Lincs PE9 2HD.
Saturday, November 21, in the Burghley Centre Car Park, Saturday Market, Bourne, Lincs PE10 9EG.
All events will run between 10am and 3pm.
