Motorcyclist killed in Colsterworth collision is named by police

Police have named the man who died in a collision in Colsterworth on Tuesday.

Garry Tumber, 52, from Colsterworth, sadly died following the collision on the B6403, Bridge End.

He was riding a Suzuki motorcycle which is was in collision with a Renault Kangoo, at around 2.50pm. He was taken to Queen’s Medical Centre but was pronounced dead a short while later.

The driver of the Kangoo was also injured and taken to hospital in Peterborough for treatment.

Officers investigating the collision would like to hear from anyone who may have seen either vehicle before the collision or witnessed it taking place.
