Mummies found out how much their little ones valued them during a pamper day at Oakham CE Primary School.
The foundation stage children hosted the morning on Friday last week and their mums had the chance to have their make-up done, visit a manicure station to have their nails painted and hand cream applied and have their locks brushed at a hairdressing station.
They were also able to tuck into delicious biscuits baked by their children or have a hug in the cuddle corner or hear a story, as well as taking away hand-drawn cards.
Early years leader Emma Jackson said: “The mums went away feeling slight less pampered than they would have done if they’d spent a day at a spa but they all went away with massive smiles on their faces.
“The children got a lot out of it as well, it was all about thanking their mummies for all the things they do for them. It was a fun day.”
