Town boss Richard Kendrick is undaunted by this weekend's visit of all-conquering Ramsey Town despite his misfiring side picking up just one points from their opening five matches.
Ramsey come to Tod's Piece having won all four games so far, scoring 16 goals and yet to conceded.

After his team surrendered a first half lead on Saturday against Oundle, Kendrick said: "Ramsey are tipped to win it and they have one hell of a side.

"We will be missing Andy Sayers up front and Mark Cox at the back and both of them are big players for us.

"But they've got to come to Uppingham and beat us and we won't make it easy for them."

Town were on course for their first victory in the premier division this season after Martin Turricki put them ahead midway through the first half.

Martin Baines knocked over a free kick to the far post and Turricki headed home.

Unfortunately Uppingham failed to heed the manager's warning to keep it tight at the start of the second half and Oundle managed to beat the offside trap with the Town defence static and Glen Bolden equalised.

Uppingham pushed for the winner but strikers Dylan Oliver and Sayers were well shackled.

Kendrick added: "There is no panic at the club. We haven't scored from open play this season and we need to start taking our chances."
Uppingham: Williams, Lewin, M Baines (L Baines), Cox, Clark, Bryan, Thomas, Turricki, Pridmore, Oliver, Sayers.
Unused subs - Elkashoty, Price.
