Uppingham Town and Rutland Rangers both went out of the Leicestershire Senior Cup on Saturday.

Town were demolished 6-1 by senior league premier division leaders Anstey Nomads.

Rangers bowed out 4-2 to another senior league top flight side, Leicestershire Constabulary.

Michael Nelson and Robbie Pearce grabbed their consolation goals.

It was better news for Cottesmore Amateurs, who advanced to the next round of the competition with a 3-1 success at FC Dynamo.

Rutland Rangers Reserves went out of the Leicestershire Saturday Vase when they lost 4-3 at home to Wigton Athletic.

Rob Lawrie netted twice and Rory McDade netted in Uppingham Town Reserves' 4-3 league reverse at Kings Cliffe Reserves.

Oakham Imps Reserves lost 4-3 at home to North Kilworth Reserves in the Leicester and District League, James McGrath Martin Bradley and Jason Short the men on target.
