Ryhall United continued their excellent home record with a 3-0 victory over Whittlesey Blue Star in the PDFL Division One thanks to a hat-trick of penalties all scored by teenage midfielder Greg Dunn.
Ryhall recorded their ninth win in their last 10 home games to return to winning ways after an indifferent spell away on the road.
United thought they had grabbed an early lead when Jack Travers headed home a deep corner but the goal was disallowed for an earlier infringement.
Just before half-time Whittlesey were reduced to ten men, when Danny Sheehan went in with a hard tackle the forward reacted by pushing Sheehan in the face.
The referee stepped between the players and produced a yellow card for the tackle and a red for retaliation.
The red card was back out ten minutes into the second half which saw Whittlesey reduced to nine men.
Luke Ball clipped the ball forward before being hacked down in a studs first tackle which resulted in the red.
Midway through the half and another deep corner saw Travers impeded as he tried to head the ball, the ref showed no hesitation in pointing to the spot to gift Ryhall a much needed opportunity to open the scoring.
Dunn slotted home and when Joe Lippett and then later Travers were also fouled in the box he repeated the feat twice more to claim his hat-trick from the spot.
