Stamford AFC striker Ryan Robbins has signed a new contract to play for the Evo-Stik NPL club in 2015/16.
Robbins, who was voted players’ player of the season at the club’s end of season awards, was the Daniels’ top goal scorer last season with 21 in the league and 24 in total.
His goals helped them avoid relegation and win the Lincolnshire Senior Trophy last season.
It has been a busy year for Robbins who also made his international debut for St Kitts & Nevis and played in both their World Cup qualifiers in March scoring in the second game.
He is due to jet out to the Caribbean at the end of the month to represent the Sugar Boyz again when they take on El Salvador, home and away in the second round of pre-qualifying for Russia 2018.
Stamford manager David Staff said: “It’s good to have Ryan here for another season. We want people to contribute and he does that with his goals. He was prolific again last season and I still think there is room for improvement in his game, and he’ll get better as we do.”
Despite Stamford struggling last season, eventually finishing 20th in the league, Robbins was the sixth highest scorer in the league.
