RUTLAND Rockets produced their best display of the season against the winter premier division winners Knighton.

A match that should have been a breeze for Knighton turned out to be their toughest of the summer league.

Rutland started well, keeping the score close, and after the 1st quarter were only down by three goals.

In the second quarter, the Rockets stepped up their performance to level the score at half time.

Throughout the third quarter, the match remained even with both teams scoring one after the other meaning the final quarter would be the decider. Unfortunately for Rutland, Knighton pulled away but the Rockets had made them work.
