A Ryhall Primary School youngster is a star among his classmates after winning a space age competition.
Henry Franks is one of only 14 youngsters nationally invited to meet astronaut Richard Garriott and visit the National Space Centre in Leicester.

The 10-year-old, of Great Casterton Road, Ryhall, was a winner in a competition to design a space experiment for Richard Garriott to perform during his visit to the International Space Station next month.

Henry suggested he should measure his pulse during a series of exercises on earth then do similar exercises in space to be able to calculate the difference.

Henry's mum Joy said: "He worked really hard at devising the experiment and he was really chuffed when they read his name out as the winner."
Richard Garriott, 47, is to be the sixth private individual to visit the International Space Station.

He is a video games guru responsible for the Ultima series of games and now for Tabula Rasa, which is set to take online gaming to the next generation.
