Pupils pulled out all the stops for a performance of the Three Little Pigs using puppets they made from recycled materials.
Year 3 pupils at St Mary and St John primary at North Luffenham came up with some innovative designs for the pigs and a scary looking wolf using plastic milk cartons, sponges and material.

They also wrote the script themselves and performed songs and a dance for their audience of pre-school children.

About 90 toddlers from four pre schools - Keepers Cottage, Day Nursery, Ketton; Belton Pre School; North Luffenham Pre School and Edith Weston Pre School – watched the show.

Drama Teacher Mrs Zoe Campbell said: "We were a bit worried the big bad wolf would frighten the pre school children, but I think he was their favourite character."

Pupils will perform the show again at the school open day on Tuesday, November 11.
