Discover Rutland Day is set to be held on the shores of Rutland Water on Saturday and organisers are hoping it will prove as popular as ever.
The event runs from 10am to 6pm at Sykes Lane and includes live music, fun activities for all the family and local food and demonstrations.
The day is organised by Discover Rutland, in partnership with Rutland County Council and Anglian Water, and aims to celebrate all that is fantastic about the county.
The day will be compered by chef Brian Baker, who will welcome a host of talented chefs, culinary demonstrates, delicious cakes, local pies, quality meats, fine wines and beers.
Michelin Star chef Sean Hope from the Olive Branch will be demonstrating, and there will also be cookery demonstrations from James Goss - head chef at the Kings Arms at Wing; Kaz - head chef at The Mad Turk, Stamford; Rob from Hambleton Bakery and Nick Bake, owner of Rutland Charcuterie.
There will be a programme outlining all of the events available on the day, which carries special offers in it for Barnsdale Hall Hotel, and also a chance to win a three course meal for two at the Fox North Luffenham and an overnight stay at Barnsdale Lodge hotel.
On stage, there will be the Tin Pigeons, Rutland Concert Band and Funk Soul Brother playing.
Estate agents Moores will be flying its hot air balloon over the water during the day.
There will also be activities such as Airsoft and bouncy castles galore for the children!
Other attractions include fairground rides, exhibition stalls, art and craft activities, sports demonstrations and loads more.
