The new and exciting Uppingham Feast Day, organised by a committee of volunteers from the Uppingham Town Partnership, will be taking place this Sunday.

Kicking off this year’s event will be the Rutland Samba group who will lead a lively procession from Uppingham Town Hall at 11.45am - do bring your whistles and feel free to join in with the lively and invigorating beats of Samba.

A free day out for all the family, this year’s event will cater for all ages with a wide variety of live music and performances, a number of exciting activities and plenty of food and drink to enjoy throughout the day.

Running from midday to 10pm in Uppingham Market Place, there will be plenty going on including falconry displays, street entertainers, face painting, a craft fair, Samba band workshops, circus skills workshops and much more.

There will be lots of live music on both the main stage and acoustic stage, including Uppingham Soul and Jazz band, Paspatou, school choirs, Austrian Rolling Stones and The Heist.

Britain’s Got Talent finalist, Jasmine Elcock will also be taking to the main stage, with a special performance at 6.15pm - one not to be missed!

Make sure you come and get involved in what is guaranteed to be a great day out for those based in and around Rutland.
