Funhouse Comedy Club returns to the Grainstore Brewery in Oakham on Thursday, June 30 for a fun-filled night of laughter.
Topping the bill will be international stand-up comedian Paul Sinha. The eloquent and intelligent ex-GP has found the perfect balance of mixing politics with comedy. His one-liners are delivered with the crisp clarity of cut glass and engaging warmth, creating a hugely entertaining and fascinating set.
Opening the night is the award winning Nathan Caton, star of radio and TV, including TV’s Live At The Apollo, Mock The Week, Russell Howard’s Good News and BBC Radio 4’s ‘Can’t Tell Nathan Caton Nothing’, which had its third series in 2014. He started his comedy career as a 19 year old and immediately started winning awards. He has been called the most exciting young black comic on the circuit and combines his laidback, clear-cut material with his art of cutting down ‘fools’ both in everyday life and the media.
Also appearing is the playful and animated Andy Watson with his clever one-liners, sharp delivery and endless energy; with the ability to immediately seize his audience and take them on a rollercoaster ride he leaves them in stitches.
Compere for the night is the amiable and amusing Scott Bennett.
Tickets are £12 in advance and can be purchased online at www.funhousecomedy.co.uk
Doors open at 6.15pm.
