Rigid plastics packaging specialist RPC Group which has a factory in Schofield Road, Oakham, has been named Company of the Year at the recent UK Packaging Awards, with one judge commenting that the company “continues to set the standard for the packaging industry.”
In their citation, the judges named RPC “a star performer...demonstrating a fine set of results and a strategy that is reaping awards.” RPC continues to invest in its existing businesses. In addition, its ongoing Sustainability Matters programme is aimed at reducing energy consumption at all sites through a series of efficiency projects.
