Friends, family and staff enjoyed a day of celebrations at The Yard Soft Play Cafe in Stamford at the weekend, as they celebrated its first year of business.
The popular family hub, which started out as a small business venture for two local mums, Aimee Swift and Jo Henchy, has become a huge success attracting families from near and far to enjoy its facilities.
Aimee and Jo bought the former indoor play-area Little Rascals, located in West Street Business Park, in May 2014 and whilst keeping the fantastic play frame they have transformed the building into The Yard - an indoor soft play centre & cafe.
Both Aimee and Jo said: “Our first year has been better than we ever expected and we are so grateful to all of our lovely customers for supporting us.”
In it’s first year The Yard has played host to a number of exciting events and activities from music concerts to art classes and dance lessons.
These events are something Aimee and Jo want to continue doing, along with their popular party packages which offer two hours free play, a birthday picnic and exclusive use of the hub’s party room for groups of children.
The Yard already has big plans in store for this year including making improvements to its play area, plans to extend its opening hours and plans to make exciting changes to its menu.
Make sure you pay a visit to The Yard which is open from 10am to 4pm, Tuesday to Friday. You can also visit the website.
