There’s plenty of trick or treats taking place this Halloween across the area, so don your favourite witches’ hat and fly off on your broom to enjoy these ghoulish and great events.
Do you dare go on a ghost walk? Prepare to be spooked as ghostly expert Martin Tempest takes willing customers around Stamford Town Centre as part of Stamford Arts Centre’s Halloween Special. There’ll be plenty of ghoulish characters waiting to pounce and make you jump on what will be a fun walk around the town. Ghost walks will take place tonight and tomorrow at 6.30pm, 7.30pm, 8.30pm and 9.30pm. Tours are £6 per person. Call 01780 763203.
l Have a ‘wicked’ time at Sacrewell for its Spooky Spectacular when the wicked witches of Wansford move into the old farmhouse with a few of their creepy crawly friends. Jump on a tractor ride to the house and take the tour of the witches’ lair…but try not to get left behind because you might not make it out the other side. l Come for a walk in the weird woods and carve your own petrifying pumpkin to take home at Barnsdale Garden’s Scary Spooktacular on Saturday, midday to 4pm. l A devilish disco is being held at All Saints’ Church Hall in Scotgate, Stamford tonight at 6pm. The Halloween Party will include games, arts and crafts, messy play and food.
