Staff at Rutland Memorial Hospital have produced a video showing what it is like to work on the busy inpatient ward.
It is part of a campaign to recruit three full-time qualified nurses to work at the hospital, in Cold Overton Road, Oakham.
The hospital has 16 beds providing palliative, end of life, rehabilitation, and sub-acute care.
Ward sister Claire Haines said: “We are looking for nurses who are forward thinking, confident in their decision-making, and who can put the patient at the centre of care.”
Sue Durrance has been at the hospital for nine years as a staff nurse, and before that she worked there as a healthcare assistant. She said: “I love working here, we have got a fantastic team, and we really support one another.”
Zoe Harris, hospital matron, added: “We offer a friendly environment and fantastic team working. We regularly seek the views and feedback from our patients and relatives through our Friends and Family survey and we are getting fantastic results.”
