A COUNCIL’s plans to terminate its agreement with another council over implementing traffic orders in Fareham has been called in.

Fareham Borough Council’s executive gave the go-ahead to cut a contract with Hampshire County Council to make traffic regulation orders to save £60,000 a year.

However, the council’s Liberal Democrat contingent have now asked the scrutiny board in Fareham to assess the decision at a meeting tomorrow at 4pm.
