Residents at a retirement park are the latest to receive a lifesaving defibrillator thanks to generous donations.
The equipment has been installed at Ranksborough Hall Park in Langham.
It was part-funded by the Karen Ball Fund, which alongside the Community Heartbeat Trust has now helped install 35 defibrillators in the county.
Donations also came from the Rutland Lions, Langham Parish Council and Tony White junior and his family.
Defibrillator co-ordinator for the Karen Ball Fund Juliet Burgess-Ray said: “It feels great to be able to put some of our funds into these valuable devices that can save lives.”
Our picture shows Juliet, Langham Parish Council chairman Terry Manning, Paul Mills of Rutland Lions, Tony White junior, residents Valerie Banks and Helen Alexander, and Martin Fagan of the Community Heartbeat Trust.
The Karen Ball Fund is in the process of being wound up, but funds for defibrillators are still available. Call Juliet on 01572 812898.
